The Station is a photography and content studio, gallery, and event space grounded in the heart of Brisbane—where Fortitude Valley meets Spring Hill. Housed in a thoughtfully restored 1950s warehouse, we’ve created a space where creativity feels welcome, supported, and limitless.

With original exposed beams, high ceilings, and textured brick walls, the space holds the history of its past as one of Brisbane’s first service stations. On site you will see the original and iconic signage “We Never Close”, and while our purpose has shifted, our commitment to movement, expression, and creative connection remains.

For over six years, The Station has been a place for artists, photographers, curators, and communities to gather and create. Our aim is simple: to offer a space that adapts to your vision—whether that’s an exhibition, shoot, live event, or something entirely new.

Our Space Includes:

  • A fully equipped photography and content studio with lighting, backdrops, props, and furniture

  • A contemporary gallery space ideal for exhibitions, launches, and installations

  • A flexible event venue suited to performances, celebrations, and gatherings

The Station was built with the belief that creativity flourishes in community. We value accessibility, collaboration, and experimentation. Whether you’re here for a moment or for many months, you’re part of something ongoing—something open, evolving, and made together.
